Oh, what a night!
The Sip, Shop & Hang was an amazing success … thank goodness. There was a steady stream of over 100 guests from 4pm until the end.
The vibe was fantastic. When I looked across the room, people were chatting with each other and with the vendors (scroll down for the full list).
Everyone enjoyed themselves. It’s the feeling that I dreamed about, in between the anxious moments during the past couple months.
The feedback from the vendors has also been super positive. If you bought something, please take a moment to tag the vendor to help spread the word for others to shop small. Walmart/Target/Amazon don’t need our money. There’s another Holiday Market at Backyard on Blake on December 7th if you can make it!
Special thanks to Keti who promoted the heck out of the event and brought a great group of Georgian friends and vendor Miss Victoria Regina. Erin and Brit sold plenty of books! Trapper of Colorado had sustainable gift tags and bags for our holiday shoppers. Brooke, I love my new landscape!
Sales at Everyday Sabbatical were fab, esp. considering most of my friends already have EDS. If there was a size or color of something you wanted but we didn’t have at the event, please reach out! Thank you to our everyday models Lucy, TJ, Manasi, and Jenn who wore theirs to the event! We still have a Buy TWO, Get ONE Free Scarves/Pashminas sale!
In addition to the vibe, I loved seeing the race and ethnic diversity in the room. It’s how all events in Denver should look but rarely do.
Finally, it’s weird to talk about trash but … for the entire evening, we only created 1 small bag of trash and 4 boxes of recycling (half just wine bottles). For an event this size, that is truly a teeny footprint.
Thanks to everyone, near and far, for your support and words of encouragement.
And for folks in Denver, thank you for literally showing up. I’m grateful for you all – and could not have done this without you all.
Cheers to an amazing, magical evening.
XOXO, Mini
Thank you friends and vendors:
