It was a daily ritual. I would come home from my corporate job, immediately take off my work clothes and bra and put on an old tank top and cut-offs that died long ago - but just hadn't made it to the trash. Oh, where’s the glamour!
After an especially horrendous day, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and realized that I looked as crappy as I felt. "Let me throw money at this problem," I thought. I looked and looked for something I loved - and couldn't even find "like". All I found were negligees or grandma flannel with doile collars - UGH.
I decided to splurge and have some pieces custom-made, which led me to realize that I probably wasn't the only woman out there ... And Everyday Sabbatical was born.
I tortured my friends with lists of names. Leanne gifted me “Everyday Sabbatical”. Life should have daily moments of exploration and curiosities. I’ve been lucky to travel widely, create a family of great friends all over the world, volunteer, learn how to make fine furniture ... And start “Everyday Sabbatical”.
