Designer's Notebook

I like wearing shorts, but I was really tired of running shorts being the only comfy option - especially when I'm not wearing them for running (or, in my case, shuffling). I hate how the elastic gripped my waist and how I had to sit a certain way so I didn't accidentally flash people. No one should have to change how they hold their body to be comfortable in their own clothes!

I designed these shorts to be comfy, versatile and polished. The thigh band shapes to your thigh, so it doesn’t grip uncomfortably, but it also doesn't flip up (so annoying).

Fitting Tip
  • True to fit.  
  • Some prefer to buy one size up for longer length and looser fit.
  • The thigh band will loosen up after movement and "bounce back" after washing.  
  • Jayla is 5'10" and wearing a S in Slate Gray.
  • Jackie is 5'7" and wearing a M in Navy and Black (looser fit).
  • Laura is 5'10" and wearing a M in Navy.

Great all rounder shorts. Wore them fancy clothes shopping this morning - good to try new tops on with. Wore them while working this PM at the same time as watching middle child play soccer. Cycled to the beach this afternoon, swam and wore them home with my swimming costume on. Perfect.

Love, love, love!

These shorts are amazing! I've been searching forever for casual, comfortable shorts that look cute and "put together" when one leaves the house. They score on all three points. Got them in navy but will order a pair in every color for next summer. I like the waistband so much that I'll try a pair of the pants for the colder weather season.

Seriously buy these.

I love these shorts so much. They are so soft with a perfect waistband and length (for reference, I'm 5'8 about 140 lbs and got a M). I love they have a pock to hold my phone and I can wear them all day working from home in absolute comfort, then also to run errands, meet friends or go to a school meeting without feeling like I'm wearing workout or sweat shorts — they also look more refined then jean shorts in my opinion if you pair with a nicer top and cute sandal. Love!

My new go-to shorts!

There are my new go-to sophisticated sweat shorts. Fabric is super comfy, pockets don’t bulge, and the tapered hem gives them a tailored, put-together look. Great to run errands in and an ideal WFH option, which is my life these days. Highly recommend!!
