It's been a busy week behind the scenes at Everyday Sabbatical! I've been organizing the photo and video shoots that will feed the website revamp I told you about last week.
- Photographer hired: Brien Hollowell (Don't let the moody black-and-white portfolio fool you. He's got a big, fantastic smile and a warm, energectic personality).
- Models selected: Lupe, Barbara, Laura, and Jayla.
- Studio booked: Gas Money.
- Video calls with the stylist: Whit. So many details!
The shoot is scheduled for the end of June and, I'm told, will take six hours, which sounds like a lot of time but when you include set-up and breakdown times, outfit changes, and the number of pieces that need to be photographed, we probably have four real hours. Hopefully that will be enough!
I know we've all witness brands revise their websites and content, but I don't recall ever having the brand walk me through that process. It usually just shows up one day when you see a new logo or a revised website. I hope you enjoy a little bit of a look at how this process is going instead of just having it thrown at you in a month or two. I'm excited. Nervous. Anxious. Exhilarated. And every emotion in between. Thanks for joining me on this journey.
